Its fairly simple if you have a few people to help you and the tools to get the job done righ!! sat i spent a total of about 8 hours cut my old frame off took the motor out set the rear end up set the fontend up and started tack welding piece by piece sunday we finished by welding it all togther now all i have to do is odds and ends and then the frame will be done as far as welding it togther plus i have to get the pick up bed as well it also helps when you have 1 already built that you can swap parts everything im useing is off my old bug except for the shifter im thinkin about switching that i dont like the bug pack shifter im thinkin scat dragfast what do yall think

Ive always used a Scat shifter and have never had any problems.Gene Berg shifters are supposedly the best,i dont know because they cost $250-300.

lookin good but you need to add bars on the front bottom bars like you did the top from the center to right behind the lower clamps if you dont the frame will bend there becouse its a weak point been there done that no fun

Author:  Tackleberry [ Mon Apr 26, 2010 12:42 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: new build warrior

I did that actually there are 4 bars two that run up to the top of the dash and 2 go to the front bottom bars the pics were last week right before i left ohio and my brother in law welded them for me on thurs i only get weekends to work on it and not every weekend this weekend it should be done though not to much left
