I would fore go the tubes and form Metal or aluminum in those areas. Its not hard to do and make them removable. It will give you better acces to your brake pedals etc. I did something similar on mine and it worked out well.

Thanks Odyknuck, But I already went with 1" tubes at an angle. I tried to do the aluminum, but the area is so small with a bad twist I couldnt keep it from buckling or creaseing unless I used a thincker piece then I coulnd get it to twist.

Looking very good. Those front treads are certainly gonna throw the mud your way. Try to remember to keep your mouth shut if you can while riding that thing.

Man that thing looks killer! I love the trunk lid.... very good job I have to admit I wasnt diggin' the diagonal bars in the front but now that they are done they look really cool !

Thanks guys, I have to put in a few more body panels, the engine, and a good once over to make sure everythings tight, and I should be done, or ready to ride, I'm sure it'll never be done.

great job on the build , on all the detail you have put on your buggy i do have to ask on your light bar the cool little skull you put up their does his eyes glow cause that would be 8) and another nice added touch like the struts on the back engine deck lid . jason
