Since I will never get this one seater finished by May, I bought Dunebuggy79's Stalker roller. I need to make a few minor changes, but this one I can have ready to hit the woods in time. Ill have to work on the single seater as time allows.

I just need this snow to go away. Talk about the worst time to bring a frame home.

Good god I've been gone awhile! I had a divorce to sort out, a dozen women to wade through & I turned into a workaholic who forgot how to have fun.

I finally settled down & have had the same woman in my life for almost 3 years & she's tired of looking at my buggies just sitting & she wants me to get back in the woods. I still have all my parts & frames & in the 4+ years I've been absent from here a few more parts found their way into my garage.

I'm trying to get my new garage built so I have room to work on the rails again. My 2180 is still out at Jim's VW & his last call 2 years ago was about putting new guides in the heads before porting them. I put $800 deposit on the job so I'm sure it's still there but I really need to get back in gear on this stuff.

I recently got my dually back on the road & in towing shape & also completely rebuilt my car trailer so I can use it for cars & the rails. Last night I made a deal on facebook to get some 3x5 trailing arms & axles for the single seater which is something I always wanted on it along with a 6" wider beam which I still need to find. My plan is to toss either my Stalker or other 2 seater together if & when Ohio warms up & hit the woods with my girlfriend. Finding time will be tough but I can't keep ignoring my rails.

The single seater found a home on my 4 seater. I really need to get back to work on that rail.

It's amazing to me that I haven't been to Wellsville in probably 15 years & I haven't been in a rail in at least 7 to 8 of those. I never lost the drive but it's amazing how many things get in the way & take priority over having a hobby. My new garage is the #1 priority when spring gets here because without it I don't have room to work since my other garages are packed full. If I can toss the Stalker together without trying to make it perfect or pretty then I should be able to enjoy a few outings this season. I lost track of my old riding buddies so it looks like I'll be out there alone & have to make some new friends.

My kids kept me busy plus life got in the way of my hobby. I've become a pretty boring person of late & all I do anymore is work & be a dad. My kids are now 12 & 13 & I think they are ready to wheel around Wellsville themselves if I can dig up a couple Honda EX's for them. I've made peace with my ex & she ran the loser off that she had shacked up with who was begging for a beat down from me. Thank god all that garbage is behind me. It's time to get back to having fun again & the fact that my girlfriend wants to do some offroading has been another motivator.
