2x3's with 930's Running on the torsion with cheap 24" coilovers. And it rides great, youd have to wake my wife up to ask her.

Broke both ears of then rotated and ripped the line off. Flat ground luckily. So I unbolted the 2 halves to be able to remove it without a jack. Didn't see any reason to keep it. Between that and Hydo gone from clutch peddle made a fun trip to camp.

Appletree arms and no problems, yet. But if they make it past D&K I think they will get lightly boxed in. All it takes is one good hit on a rock or stump.

Ok time for some updates. Here is the Pitman-arm completed and installed.

Then the next problem was the Frame in the way of the power steering box. So I cut out the tubing.

Fits great now, lol.

Next thing to do, relocate removed tubing with (hopefully) the same or better strength.

Thats 3/8" plate for the riser and 1/2" plate for the reinforcement. I'll need to go back and clean up the welds, but I was in a hurry and was right over my fuel lines.

I was a little concerned when I got it done and it was 1-1/4 turns lock to lock. But we took it to haspin for the weekend and man I loved it. One hand on the wheel and one on the cutters/shifter it was grrreeeaattt! but then I broke a vw caliper off in the woods when I was trying to pop over a down tree :( sooooooo it was time to upgrade. Luckily I had a brand new set of 4x4 S-10 calipers in the garage, what luck! :D

So Tuesday I started on my new brakes. With a few pics from Oddpowers of his brother jimmy's setup I had a plan. I was told that I needed a half inch of extra spacing to make up for the difference in rotor thickness and a couple mounts and I was in bussiness.
Here it is getting measurements for the mounting tabs.

I found when it was all done it felt spongy. But when I took it for a test drive it would lock the brakes right up on the street, pedal does have a bit of travel though. I talked with Oddpowers and he said he had the same result. So I figure its just a matter of leverage. I am moving a small maybe 1" piston at the pedal to move around a 2+" piston at the calipers. It will take a longer distance at the pedal but multiply the force at the calipers for more braking power. The cutters where the same way, more pull, but not a hard pull to lock up the brakes. Before they barely moved but I was pulling extremely hard it seemed to lock it up. So with only a street test so far, I was very happy. I am going to try and find a brake master cylinder with a larger piston and res, but not there yet. Well this is all up to date now. Time to re-clean the garage and try out the bender. Need to beef up the cage b4 my buggy becomes PB's twin  Oh and maybe a roof too if I have time.

Will do, but its not as loud as an AC engine, must have something to do with the lack of gas it burns or the 87 octane.

Arc flatscreen 8000R upgrade
Image

I also wrapped the ribbon cable in black duct tape to give it a little extra insullation.

Then covered the old switch holes in my center console with diamond plate.
