Nitro, what kind of front hub/rotor are you using?
Moving your steering box to the center, did it remove most of your bum steer?

Not 100% sure but I think they were CNC, got them from Tim at Southern Buggies.
And the bump steer is almost completely gone, it was horrible on the drivers side before.

Thanks
I dont have front brakes and stock rear drums now and dont like how it doesn't stop.
I pick up a rear disc setup and also some 4 piston calipers for the rear.
Cheap calipers but a little heavy, $31 a piece at advanced auto.
I was going to use them and then decide if I still need front brakes.

How well did yours stop with just rear disc?

I like your steering box setup.
Thinking about going that route or a grand-am rack.

It stopped pretty good except going down real steep hills when the weight wont transfer and the tires would just slide. Spooked me a few times on some big muddy hills, hence the front brakes. And the reason I went with the box instead of a rack is the ability to adjust steering speed with a longer pitman arm.

That a great reason to use a box.
I'm in Fl. not many steep muddy hills to slide off of.
Thanks for your imput.

Any Chevey truck box from like the mid 80's up should work. Jeeps use the same saginaw box as well. Mine came from CL for $25, not sure what it was in, lol. anything from a rear wheel drive monte carlo to a 1 ton dualley.
