Its time to start my daughters buggy, she turns 14 next month and I'm holding on for deer (see JOTD) life. My challenge is to take this little prissy girl.

That appears to be a Berrien Buggy, 902 shortback.
Nice little starter buggy.

Ok so I'm swapping the bug tranny for a 3 rib and ball joint for link pin front. I know I need to modify the front of the Frame. That I can handle. What do I need to do for the tranny? Mounts, cv's, axles and maybe shifter linkage? Just trying to get ducks in a row. I need to get it drivable so I can teach her how to drive a stick, lol. Wish me luck!

Next year maybe. Right now it looks like the pic with a non running motor and a bug tranny as well as a driver thats never driven a stick shift. 4 or 5 weeks may be a bit to soon, lol.

Well Koko, seems a few of my buddies went down there Memorial day weekend. They had trouble trying to get around there. Now in all fairness they shoulda gotten themselves a local tour guide. Maybe then they woulda had more luck. A few say they will never return. I still want to give it a go, but it takes around 7 hrs to get there. Pushing it for a 2 day weekend.

Geez, sorry to hear that for them. They're missing out. Tell them dont let one bad trip keep them from coming to ride at an AWESOME park. Who were they? Maybe I'll remember. They should've hooked up with us and we could've taken them on a great ride! I hope y'all make it down some time. It's worth the seven hour trip. Make it an even longer weekend, come down thursday, ride all day friday, Friday evening, All day saturday, and even sunday mornin'! It's a great place, with great people.

Duane and Roy are the main ones. I know some of the others want to return. And if I ever get my vacation days back (lost them when I got laid off) then I can do a long weekend again. Maybe Thanksgiving. Afterall it's why we bought the new truck. Reliable tow rig.

Duane told me about that trip to D&K, said he didn't know it was Darrel's front yard he was hill climbing in. I think he also said something about how the girls out there made him look so bad that he took the "truck nuts" off his vehicle.LOL!

Been to wellsville and Haspin only. I wish D&K wasn't 400 miles away, I'd love to be able to get there and back on a 2 day weekend and still have time to ride. Who knows maybe be able to make it Halloween Weekend. I really want to check it out. Haspin tho is my closest spot at 135 miles and Wellsville is around 300. Guess I picked the wrong state, and end of it, to be born in.

It's all right for trail riding but you are right, no big hills.
It's about all we got.
