I'm not too sure about that crooked shifter tube,,It might work fine but I would think it would exagerate looseness. While you are at that stage you can tilt the tranny down and then line the shifter box up,,,you might have to raise it a tad but being that long maybe not. Just tilt the box to match the angle. Just thinking out loud,,,good luck. |

i've been running a shift rod bent like that for years with no issues. tryed to get him to raise the box for the straight shot but he did'nt want to so i heated it up and bent it. he did a good job building this buggy it was built in my garage with him cutting and fitting everything and me and buggiejunky welding it. it is his buggy frame i'm tryin to sell on buggys for sell. he is 19 and very paticular . this is goin to be a very nice buggy with a 2387 powering it. |
