Here are some pictures of the new single seater that I got from Predator buggies and here's what has been done by me so far.........
It is almost ready to hit the powdercoaters this weekend and stay tuned for more pictures next week!!

That Looks friggin Killer!! Nice tires, too! When did you move to KY?  Are those Fox 2.0's on the rear? I know some heavier buggy owners are happy with them, I've been curious how they 'd work on a light buggy. Cant wait to check it out! Hurry up!

thanks larry. those r just fox gas skocks i still have after market torsion bars. 26mm swayaways short bars with a ajuster in the middle.ha ha im still a buckeye. |

I dont know what mine weighs. The only buggies I seen them Fox 2.0's on in the woods were bigger buggies and tube chassis 4x4's. I didnt say that there were no light buggies out there with them already, just that I havent been around them. I have been hoping that someone would try to tune a set of those for a light weight hillclimber and I was interested in Pipedope's feedback when he tries them out, since his buggy is similiar to mine. Apparently the shocks are not what I thought they were any ways, so whats your point?

They can't be a whole lot lighter than a 2 seater, you've got all the same bars, just missing a seat. |

On the average, they are quite a bit lighter unless you are talkin about a stripped down two seater. Mine does not have the same bars as any two seater I ever seen. I have no tubing up the middle on the floor. All my crossways bars are at least 8" shorter if not more than any two seater I've ever seen, except torsions and rear cage. No big x in the roof needed because roof bars are closer together and shorter. No extra harness, no oh-shit bar, no foot rest for passsenger, plus the seat you mentioned and the hdwr that holds it all. My floor aluminum is 36" at its widest point at rear torsion and tapers down, no "out" to be wider under the two seats then back down, and same goes for the lower outer tubing. All this may sound insignificant, but it adds up. Thats not to say there are no fully equipped for the woods (tree bars, x brace , race brace, etc) two seater chassis lighter than my one seater, because I'm sure there are. I was just wondering if you could make those 2.0 shocks soft enuff, yet hold good ride height, on a purpose built buggy where nothing else matters except how well it climbs. I know Brian, that is his only goal with his one seater, same as mine. Aint tryin to arque, just askin about some shocks. Geez. |

i think them are the same shocks im runnin,but i still have torsions bars in mine jus loosened up a little,i run 75lbs of nitrogen in mine,they work great,o yea my 2 seater weighs 1250 lb with no gas in it,,lol |

There is no reason you can not run the Fox 2.0 Airs on a lite Woodsbuggy or hill climber. They are actually meant for the light weight application. Most of you smaller single seat mini Buggys run them including Drakart and the new production Redline. They are weighing in at less than 800 pounds. Note that Air shocks to give you more body roll than convential Emulsions or coil overs. |

Thanks alot everybody. damn right im building it to climb cant wait. jeff from preator buggy said they waiegh around 1250 to 1300 done. my 2 seater was 1640 with a dig. set of race car scales.power coat color is blue i never seen not 1 blue single seater at the hill climb last week killer i can keep my color. |

I like the color on your 2 seater, and the idea you had for a body is about the best I've ever seen. Why didn't you have it at the hill climb? It gets around pretty damn good, you'd have had a shot at it. |

Although it might be bad when I get all jacked up the side of a bad one, which happens more then I like to admit.  Torsion holding good for the last couple of rides since I got some bars right out of beetle, might look into some 2.0airs if it takes a squat again. Somebody else around 1250-1300lbs needs to try them without bars before me. Too much money to find out they suck on a hill after they are installed!
