Here is the mini rail we are building. Started life as a 300ex. Its coming along good we got the cage and suspension done finally. Steering and shifting tomorrow. Its for my buddies 10 year old, and we put the seat on sliders so the big boys can get in to.

Good thing the seat moves because when the kids outgrow it you can slap a Hayabusa in there and let it rip.

The Hyabusa woulds require a F-N-R gearbox and a CVT setup to work and have reverse. It would also be way way to much power for what you are building lol.

No reverse on the 400 either which would suck. If you just chop the frame on the 300 right at the motor then build the cage around it then the swingarm and chain etc lines up perfectly because its stock 300 stuff. We are hoping to have it all done this weekend, got a few more bars to weld in and get the shifter, throttle, etc hooked up. We made it a roller last night. I am sure you could prolly come up with something even better than what we are working on.

Kyle

i'm hijacking this for a post.Image
When i first built this for my kids. i built it just for them. one day everyone was gone and i thought i'm going to drive this thing if its the last thing i do today. so i sqeeze in. got the ride in . i could not get out.( picture a 180lb man sqeezed into this) i was luck when i pulled back in to the garage there was a pair of visegrips plies laying inthe floor. i had to take the whole steering apart to get out. so a word to the wise always make them big enough for you to drive first.
