I'm just really, really slow. I get distracted with my business way too much. Hopefully this winter will be the last for the build. I'm lacking, wiring, fuel lines, radiator hoses and then the easy things like seats and belts. I'm trying to sell my Harley now to buy a house before this tax credit is gone. Once I get through that the buggy is on the priority list......just don't tell my girlfriend. lol

I bent the frame myself. I originally bought a beeline but didn't like it once I started welding it together so I cut it up and started over. It's based on the Berrien Stalker but it has a big sitting area with a high roof. The bumper I made as well. The design for the bumper was borrowed from hillaholic's front bumper.

Back to work finally. Plumbing is just about done and there is a ton of it. Wiring is started but far from done. Looks like a rats nest now but it should loom up nice and look decent once it's all covered. I'm getting a little anxious now. The computer is off getting updated so hopefully that's back soon and I can get the wiring all done.

Thanks. Got the headlights, turn signals and most of the tedius dash wiring done today. Now I'm moving towards the back to wire the rest. It's taking some time but I'm getting into it a little more now. Super tedius with this much wiring.

Wiring is complete except for the computer. Still waiting on it to be updated and sent back. Everything else on the car is wired and tested. I need to loom up some of it but it's all zip tied and done. What a relief. The American Autowire harness was awesome to work with. Made wiring this car a whole lot easier. I also used a Signal Dynamics auto cancelling turn signal module. It's made for motorcycles but works perfectly for a street legal buggy. Highly recommended for people like me who forget to turn the signal switch back off after a turn. I think it came out pretty clean and will look even better with the trunk of wires down the middle of the car loomed up.

Yeah, I'm sure at some point those mirrors will probably get ripped off. They're more of a street legal thing than actually useful. At ride height I can see behind me but mostly its a big view of a 35" bogger.

All the details are taking forever. Got the fuel cell vent and filter on and mounted. Power steering lines are all made and installed. I added coolant to the engine today to find that it looks like a drip irrigation system. I have a couple minor leaks to fix. To be expected I guess. No leaks in the power steering yet but it's not running so nothing is under pressure. Now I'm wrestling the air shocks. My nitrogen regulator doesn't go high enough to get the shocks up to the pressure I need to get the car sitting where I think it should. I'll order a new one that goes up to 500#. Right now the rears are at 300, max for my regulator, and they are riding too low. I'll go up 50# at a time until it get where it needs to be. They max at 500#. Hopefully some more progress pics to come soon. I bought some roll on truck bed liner to coat the floor. Hopefully have that on this week. Still waiting on the computer. It's MIA for now. Hopefully it's back by next week so I can tidy the wiring and try to start this thing.

Awsome machine. You may find that the 2.0 Air shocks will not work on the rear. Looks like a lot of weight back there. May want to go with another pair or up them to the 2.5s.

I've never charged them over 350#. They hold the car up, just not high enough. Max pressure is 500#. I had my nitrogen bottle filled today after realizing the regulator is fine, it was just low on pressure. The bottle gauge wasn't reading right. I'll work my way up to 500# and see what they do. If they don't hold like I hope I'll look for a pair of coilover Fox or King shocks. They are what I wanted originally but the budget wouldn't allow it at the time. Hopefully I know tomorrow if the 2.0's will hold it or not. I re-welded the AN fitting on the water pump today to rid myself of one leak. Hopefully any others will be easy to fix.

nice looking and great work but if i may make a suggestion, i think i would get some type of canister filter system instead of the k&n directly on the turbo unless you only gonna be on the highway, when the turbo goes to sucking wind the amount of dust and dirt we encounter in the woods will destroy the turbo and engine in a short time. jmo
