First MAORA race April 24-25 at Marengo IN they added a 4x4 class & there will be a woodsbuggy class. They have a sponsor just for woodsbuggys this year  . If you wont to sponsor a race or class call Brian at 317-840-7507 . I better get started on the A arm buggy need to have Drews put 1&2 gear in trans & I need to look at the engine bearings cam & parts :D

The woodsbuggy class is a "run what ya brung" class. And it is the most fun I ever had sober in a woodsbuggy! They like to see window nets or arm restraints, I think four wheel brakes, and thats about it. You can still win full contingency, which can end up being about $500 in products like K&N, Optima, and KClights and some others. Check it out for more info http://maoraracing.us/frontpage.html
Hey Kevin, leave that race motor alone, I have a brand new one sittin at home in the garage with your name on it!!

Sounds fun, but front brakes are not in the budget yet.

Nitro Nick is right it is a blast i will check on front brakes & Nick used a volleyball net for a window net my woods car had front brakes but where on a staging brake . They are willing to work with woodsbuggys to git more cars. I no all the buggys at the fall race did not have front brakes.

I could be wrong on the brakes. I'm pretty sure MAORA isn't going to send you home if you show up for a race with out front brakes, for your first race anyway. It is to my understanding that we are going to see a woods class year, and I hope so. I can't believe I don't see more woodsbuggys out there racing.

I tried to find rules on it but had no luck, I'd hate to drive to one of these and find out my W/C engine put me in a higher class or something.
