Getting closer.

I think the radiator shroud turned out fantastic. Hats off to Tony at Beeline. Too bad I couldn't do anything like that if I tried. Really cleaned up the looks alot. Still have wiring and plumb the brakes. Trying to get this thing ready for the next poker run. :)

This is what I came up for my fuse and relay box.
Two plates cut out to fit id of ammo box. Mounted u bolts on bottom to have space for wires. Handles on top for spacers for fuse block and relays. All sprayed with rubberized coating.

Got the rear brakes, brake lock and throttle cable installed. Still need to bleed the brakes. I have the front brakes mounted, rubber hoses attached and hand brake installed. Just need to plumb the three together.

Hey Gary, I ended up putting this line lock on. I had bought one when I first started building the buggy but decided I liked a ball valve better but once you pointed out to me i had the wrong fittings I decided to go the easiest route and put this on. Really appreciate the info though. You are a big asset to these boards. :) Thanks

Don't think I 'll ever be done with it, but ran it down the road a few times and seems to be doing good. Gonna take it out this weekend in Morgan Co. KY to give it a little shakedown cruise. Had to take the front brakes off to run the aluminum rims. Need to make some spacers so the wheels will clear the brakes. Still need to run front brake lines and get the exhaust tucked up and out of the way.

It's been fun working on it. Wish I could have had gotten it done quicker but it's all good. Hope to see you fellers out on the trail soon.

My tires are toed out on the bottom. I'm thinking I need to tighten the torsion but not for sure. I can jack up the rear end several inches before the tires lift off the ground. How hard is it to tighten it up? Image

Yeah, looks like you'd definitely do good to jack the torsion up a little. It's not a huge process, someone else would be able to explain better than me though.
Is your Saturn Engine an Ecotec?
I want to put an LSJ (supercharged) ecotec in a buggy! That engine is in my car and it makes around 225 hp, completely stock.
