After finishing my vw bug. I finally bought a buggy after not having one or about eight years. The frame is older and was patched in a few spots. So I am throwing a new beam in it and updating the front bumper on it. Also rebuilt the carburetors. We tore the engine down to check everything and dry sump it.

I made a plate to mount the box then I reinforced around the side with flat bar stock I then had to use a bus pitman arm and a car pitman welded them together. I would make it one inch shorter than the car pitman arm if I had it to do again

Nice work! Do you still have
a list of parts (heim joints,
shafts, etc.) and dimensions
for the trans shifter and front mount?
I can open any CAD files that
you may have.

Thanks. My parts are all hand made card board cut outs for templates I used 9/16 stainless shaft and a piece of stainless tubing with brass bushings to make it the heim joint is 1/2"
