thought Id post up my new project that is getting close to complete. Started at a 96 Polaris Xpress 400 2wd utility quad and a 2 seater go kart. I combined the 2 to make a glorified mini buggy. the quad needed a new top rebuild when i bought it. Sent the cylinder and head to Rick Ritter and had cylinder and head exchanged out for one bored 20 over and Had a head milled down for high compression for more power.

Its nothing real special but figured you guys might get a kick out of it.

here are some pics so you get the idea of what im doing. still need to hookup shift linkage, run more electrical and what not. I do plan to chop about 6 inches out of the swingarm and run a polaris rzr rear shock. Should help shorten wheelbase a bit more.

Little update I suppose. pretty much got it all the majer stuff done to it. Just need to add to the cage and shorten the swingarm a bit. been test riding it around my house and it moves out pretty good! now to just get a decent day to get into the woods.
