You prolly need shorter axles measure from inside cups at full droop and at parallel and subtract a 1/4"
That's NOT right. Proper way to measure axles is when the drive flange and stub axles are level with each other. Measure inside cup to inside cup and subtract 1/4". Full droop means nothing.

Make sure your trans is centered good first off. And a shorter axle isnt gonna help. I have 3x3 with 19 1/4 axles and had that happen as well.turned out my tranny mount was all jacked up and trans wasnt centered.
Excellent advise. BUT moving the trans isn't always possible so the quick and easy way is to take one of the washers at the inboard pivot, usually both are on the outside by the head of the bolt and put it in between the arm and torsion housing, that will move the arm out by 1/8" or better. If your still having problems then centering the trans is a must. You might also need to shorten the axles some if it still isn't right. Grinding the ends is NOT the right way to do that either.
