Fired it up for the first time tonight, I don't have much left besides wiring and gauges, and a few little things, can't wait to get this in the woods, and ImageImageImageImageain't nothing like hearing it run for a motivation booster.

I cannot be happier with this motor, plenty of power and torque!!! I recommend this swap to anybody. I'm not trying to bash air cooled, I still think there cool and there what got me hooked on buggy's but there ain't nothing like going to fuel injection, now I can worry more about were I'm driving and not keeping the motor running lol

I agree off-roading and fuel injection is the way to go. Good seeing ya out riding we should try to get a few of these eco's together and see what we can do.

Ok two questions, black tank in the middle of the fans is an overflow correct? And with that radiator do you need to run an overflow?

Don't look at it as an overflow tank, look at it as a expansion/recovery tank. When the coolant gets hot it expands and as it expands it needs someplace to go so it's pushed into the tank. When the coolant cools off it contracts pulling the fluid back into the radiator. This push/pull happens constantly as the motor runs so every water cooled system is basically the same. The hose from the rad should reach to or come from the bottom of the tank and it should be ventilated so the fluid is allowed to move.

I didn't put one on my buggy and during the day it will push coolant out of hose onto ground, without ever running hot. Then buggy will start to run warm because coolant is low. As soon as I fill it back up it runs cool for a while. I'm putting tank on this weekend

The hose on the radiator is hooked to bottom of the can and the hose you see on top is a vent/overflow, got that from summit it was like 20 bucks

I got the radiator off eBay but its for a jeep Cherokee I think a 90's model, I bought the all aluminum with three rows came with fans maybe cost around 200, a shock Cherokee rad should be plenty and there cheeper. The tank is bolted to the shroud. I custom made the shroud to mount fans and ended up being good spot for tank. I would not use the little plastic pull ties to go through fins to hold on fans they will were holes into your radiator. You can find those aftermarket aluminum radiators like I got with the shroud and fans they just cost a lot more. Goodluck
