I dont know if anyone remembers the engine setup I had before I did the ecotec engine like 3 years ago or so. But here is the toyota 3.0 V6 engine going in the new buggy. Bought a berrien stalker knock down. Started this the beginning of march and trying to get it done for memorial.

Electric power steering to a gm center steer rack
Nitro shocks in the rear with torsions still in acting only as sway bars.

Frame is alittle smaller then I expected. Its +3 taller. I should of gotten it wider too. Im 6'1" and its alittle tight for me.

Why the 3.0 just asking? Kind of heavy and not real powerful. I had a 93 SR 5 with the 3.0 with 275,000 miles still running strong

Its not much heavier then the ecotec. I put this engine in my old frame after I sold my ecotec setup and it actually moved a good bit of weight forward because its shorter then the ecotec. My suspension was sagging with the ecotec and went back up to the stops after the v6 was in.

I had this engine setup already before I did the ecotec swap. So I thought Id try it out and if I dont like it Ill go back to one of the new 2.5 ecotec
