Does anyone have a good plan layout for a T trailer build? I have an axle out of a mobile home that was scrapped out. I belive its a 3500lb axle. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

I heard mobile home axles are illegal. Maybe just here in Al. I think they should make 2 story mobile homes for rich fokes.

Axle should have been scrapped too. Tires are funny size and expensive.bearings are hard to find. They were made to be towed to one spot and rot! Id go a different route!!

Well I have 4 axles, All parts at cost thru work. Bearings for these axles are a dime a dozen and tires are actually cheap. But thanks for the help. Tstrange, any way you could send me a pic of trl for sale? Kind of far drive from Ohio but I may be up for a vacation. haha, been a few years since ive been down to TN. Thanks.

I converted my car hauler with mobile axles and I works great . I put 6 bolt trailer hubs on it . Drink a few beers and think about it .

Mobile home axles work fine and parts are cheap for them. A lot of guys around here run them. I have one that has an old drop axle out of a horse trailer. I used 2" pipe for my T and side braces. Then I took a piece of 2" x 1/4" angle and turned it up and ran it to my front stop brace from the back on an angle. Then put a piece of angle turned down on bottom of the front of buggy. When the front wheels came up over the trailer axle the angle iron on the bottom of buggy would line up in the V of the angle iron on the trailer and keep the buggy straight. Had a hole drilled through on the front and would put a hitch lock through it and then the front couldn't move and was locked to the trailer. Make your ramps permanent with a flat paddle on the top so when you drive up on they raise up behind your wheels. Put two ratchet straps over each rear tire and your done. The buggy suspension will work as the trailer suspension and ride better this way. Chad
