Love the idea... I have been looking at Subaru Gears for a while. I think a 4 wheel drive dune buggy would be unstoppable. |

At one time, many, many years ago I had the insane idea of a 4WD rail that ran 2 Identical VW engines with bus trannies, one up front & the other in the rear. Trying to shift both trannies at the same time was my stumbling block in my mind. |

Years ago there was a guy in Nashville who built a buggy of such called, "The Centipede"....It had 2 ac vw engines and transaxle's. It also swiveled in the middle. He was always at LBL. |

I seen that buggy . I think he was a engineering student and that was one of his projects |
