Stock width beam. Sideshift 6 rib. I have a 2180 stroker. But if I sell I'm going with the alpha fab combo. I'm doing a air bag suspension with long stroke rancho 9000s. Mad mike 3x3 and torsion eliminator.

The frame I think is a shorter version of the beeline tracker. It would be a tight 4 seater but I'm makin it a comfy 2 seater with room behind the seats for things

Go back and get the Eco trans and do like Passat. Oh, and do not loan him any money. Since it hit the dirt in '09, he has had absolutely no fwd trans problems and still has the same 40 year old bus joints and shaft that go from the Passat trans to the 8.8 Ford irs diff. Keep the cable shift system from the car and simply bolt the shifter to the floor.
