Yeah that would definitely not be a good day .. That is actually three bars welded as a triangle and then a quarter inch plate welded to that and then shock mount is welded to that quarter inch plate

I know what you feel like nitro. I'm only 2 hours from Blackmountain but my buddies tranny broke also on the first hill there. It was his maiden voyage.

I went cheap. Empi cvs. K got my axles from Rick I think. He said they were the good stuff. Sway a Way??? I heard to stay away from Tempi axles.

the problem i ran into with the empi chromo axles was the axle spline was loose with the cv spline lots of play in them

Got the front shocks on and mounted the frame painted took the whole front end off and put everything back together a little cleaner though the end is in sight

Ended up taking the front end apart today. I put longer front arms on I did not like the ride with the stock arms . As soon as it get worm and it drys out just a little i wantta do some testing i hope this 311main first gear works with a 4.56 if not i will be putting a 5.42 gear in and climbing in 2 gear...sometimes wanting to trail ride and hill climb don't mix ... i just trying to get the best of both since i cant own a singal seater the boss says no :(
