My dad has been working on it some while I babysit a new puppy. I was able to get out there today for a little bit and I'll get pictures tomorrow. X-brace is in, V-brace is in the roof and he has the bumper about half built. I sat in the drivers seat, with it all the way back, and I couldn't make my head hit a tube. They are plenty far enough away. I would have to come out of the seat to get close. It's getting there.

My A brace is very close to my head. I almost cut it out when I first got my buggy because I thought I'd hit my head on it. I haven't yet that I know of. Odyknuck told me not to because it helps support the roof. . Thank god I didn't because it saved my ass more than once. Thanks Steve..

Some updated pictures with the bumper about done, X-brace and some roof bracing. Needs front shock hoops and engine cage still.

My dad actually bent the bumper up himself. He worked on it most of the day Friday. He found out how challenging it can be to bend tubing and make it match from side to side. lol. We are using up most of our tubing on this project but if you're still interested in a bumper like this I can try to figure how much tube it will take and get a cost together. Labor would be minimal since you'll still have to cut, notch and fit a lot of it. Both of our cars are kingpin front ends and your car is balljoint with different spacing. You'll also need a couple flanges of some sort to disconnect the top tubes from the chassis if you plan on removing the bumper.
