Made a lil trip to Southern Buggys Last week and Picked up a roller from Tim. Got it home and started pulling it apart and getting it ready to add some much needed bracing and new Tree bars. Ill try to keep adding pics and keeping everyone up to date on whats being done and believe me Ill be asking plenty of advice!. Ill be running a 1915 with a 3 rib, 3x3's, aftermarket King pin front, Fox air Shocks on the back til funds allow. ill be running cheapo shocks on the front. Also Ill be running My centerlines with home plates and terras til I can get some more agressive tires for the rear. This Chassis is 6in narrower then the Berrien Warrior truck chassis I Started with but I just really like How it looks. I hope IM not screwing up because id like to try some of the hills and wil be running with some pretty stout buggys (or should I say trying to keep up?) I know alot of chassis are Made for dunes or woods riding or hills. I just hope it turns out to be a well rounded buggy!! Heres some pics of my progress so far. We have only got to put a couple days of work on her since she got in the shop. So let me know what you think or any ideas you may have!! ![]() ![]() ![]() Started tearing her down! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Definitely Need More Floor bracing and Race Brace!! As well as X brace ![]() Ill post more pics as we go!! Im really trying to have it ready by MId april! |

Cool build! I like the chassis design. Those are some serious nerf (tree) bars. Should be a nice ride when it's all finished. Keep the updates coming. |

The nerf/tree Bars were Cut off the first Day!! They looked like Ray Charles Bent them with a Conduit Bender. IM going to get Phil from Phils Bug Shack Bend me up a set. The rear Cage has a bumper welded to it and it weighs every bit of 100lbs. So ill have him build me a rear cage as well. I can handle the bracing and the straight stuff but have no idea how to Use a bender so Ill trust him to fix me up. IM gonna buy a bunch of tubing and scrap to practice and polish my welding skills. Good thing is I have plenty of friends that are excellent welders I can call on if I cant get somthing done right myself. I have things I need to figure out after I get the frame sanded and the bracing welded.IM gonna mock it back up before paint so I can figure where im gonna put my Cutting brakes in that tiny Cockpit (its only 46 in wide). Also with adding the X brace behind the seat IM gonna try to keep my fuel tank low and as forward as possible. If i can fit it in there. Do most of you agree with the idea of Moving the Battery to the pass side Front of the buggy? IM gonna pic up an optima to take the abuse. |

You can get a Yellow top for a Civic they work good and weigh less than the full size red top. Just make sure to use good cable when running from front to rear. |

I really like the design of this frame even better than mine i may hafta to modify my frame design i copied A buggy world frame mostly. Because my bender only goes 90° other wise i would had copied a fugitive frame however now seeing this... |

Thank you Jeff Shes Hanging in there. Still gets out when she fells good enough and She always has a Smile. Shes at Peace but shes still fighting. THe buggy is Coming around just down to Details. As far as the Color I like the pink too but My Aunt Loves it, and thats all the Matters. Spray bomb is A Rattle Can Paint Job and Trying to Spray tubing with $100/gallon car paint sucks, especially when you dont know how to paint!!! Plus the Fact of knowing that buggy has a damn good chance of sliding off a hill on its side or top in the near future. LOL!!
