Looks good Jesse, I look forward to riding with you guys this year. Wet floors really suck when welding, a bit of a shocking. I had that issue working on my trailer in the garage while it was raining. had to be done though. |

them wet floors really suck i hate even going in their if its wet need to seal them over the summer and it aint quite rdy to test yet but its almost their i cant wait  im rdy to ride this year and looking fwd to meeting you as well hopefully can make 2 hillclimbs this year

Nice buggy, good song too. Brings back the old days. Wondering whats up with the front non X brace? Clearance for steering or just built that way. |

thanks. and yea the steering rod hits if the bar is their it was all rdy that way when i bought it im gonna probably leave it out unless i ever end up with no body on it |

That's a damn nice setup! whats the specs as far as motor/trans? Does the sheetmetal body keep mud off ya? It's definitely gotta help! If you don't mind me asking, what kind/size tires are those? they almost resemble a buckshot or similiar to me?? But once again nice ride!

2210 (80x94), 4.56 6rib,CB heads with dual webers, q buckshots (36'' tall) and the fiberglass body kits do help keep the mud off you i havent turned many wrenchs on this buggy, but jesse's last buggy.. lets just say it was a basket case and we FINALLY get it all sorted out then he tore it apart to swap parts over to this chassis

Basket case is being nice lol but we did finally get most solved but man everything on this frame just slides together no effort its nice I can stick the motor in on my own actualy now and reno got the specs correct the heads are cb 044 and yes the body is nice when it comes to keeping mud off also if it rains you dont need a full size tarp just a small one and your all covered |

Out of curiousity how do those buckshot tires do overall? I remember back years ago running a regular buckshot but I've never ran buckshot Q's. Reason I ask is cause I'm going to be needing new tires before long and I'm kinda torn between another set of V treads, firestones or boggers. Thanks again, depends on the terrain you ride.. alot of bama is hard dirt, deep ruts, roots and rocks and the buckshots shine here its all ive ran for the past 6 years. if your in alot of soft dirt, then a v-tread is the way to go.. boggers are a good all around tire, but they are soooo heavy.. the best way ive seen to lighten them up is cut them to the chords and put them on aluminum beadlocks.. buckshots are relatively light for the size and that helps you get away with running a taller set (36s or 38s) on steel wheels

As reno said they are great for rocky or hard dirt fresh soft dirt not so good tend to sink to the bottom I would think they would be great up in wellsville too seems alot like here |

Really nice looking car Jesse ! If you make the long haul I would suggest staying and riding after the race sat night and Sunday . We have a good stomping ground and I'd hate for you to not be able to see it . One of the climbers had a 4 seater with buckshots from another state and he was tearing it up ! Kinda made us thing again about them . Lol |

thanks and yea i would not go that far without staying 3 days to see some trails and hills and a good night ride i will see if he would be into it also reno. as long as weather will be good to far to ride in the rain lol |

got more done it runs now finished up my steering rod and made me some tie rods should be nice once i put a dark finish on them also moved my pedals down so i fit better got my gas cable hooked up as well and clutch  i hope these hold up

no lol it was some wood i had out back just did it so it can be moved easy till i can get it to joes and get my real ones cut down and welded to the right size |
