Ok I want to make mine a pack rat but who ever built this frame made it very weird.









I want to add a 2nd over head bar, like the one the goes horizontally over your head behind the seat and redo the shock mount. I want to make the top bar of the packrat mod. run about an inch above the gas tank.
any input or pics will help allot!

I love the Pack rat or truckbed style i have it on my buggy and its too easy to do just go with it u an mod them up here is mine its when i built mine theres a few pics

Yea, thats about what I wanna do to mine. The only problem I'm having is trying to figure out how to redo the shock mount, I hate the way its setup right now with all the 1in tubing it just looks janky. see where my main horizontal bar that goes around the motor come in like 3inchs once it gets past the seat and the top roll bar so the width of the new second roll bar would be less and there fore a typical shock mount setup would be really crooked. I think Im gonna come off the second roll bar outwards and make up the difference. not to sure yet Im gonna take it to phills bug shak and have him look at it and bend what I need cause I dont have a tubing bender, then just weld it up.
