Hi names John, this is my first buggy had it for couple years now and love it. Figured i would show everyone what i got, its for sure a build on a budget, so i try to make as much myself as i can. Not sure the make of frame could be homemade its 1inch and 3/4 tube. Its got a 1641 and three rib, 2x3 bus to bus rear, 1 1/2 x 3/4 kingpin front with homemade spindels. Here it is and all input is greatly appreciated. this is close to how it was when i got it ![]() started working on it this past winter ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() since pictures i have adjusted rear springs to sit higher and cut overlap lugs off stones, and started working on new engine (aircooled)Let me know what ya'll think, and sorry about picture quality taken with smart phone |

Thanks everyone appreciate the comments, I tried to build it to be as tough as I could but keep cost down. So far holding up good.thanks Rick I take pride in my welds and the small details, and for the record all my fab was done with a grinder and cheap bender ,and a good 220v gas mig welder, don't have it in the budget for a good bender yet. |

old engine cage ![]() New ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() after pics i added removable skid plate and more pipe to protect heads, also i have been running a 1835, witch had dual carbs but i ended up running my 2 barrell holly progressive, its a lot better now compared to running that 1641, I hope to never have to go back. Its nice to not have to ride the clutch up hills anymore lol
