Post subject:  Help with some questions

Hey guys, I am in the middle of moving and need to decide what to do... I am moving to a neighborhood with no trails, I have no truck or trailer... It only has a two car garage.

I have done a lot of work to my buggy, still not built yet. I am wondering what do you guys think... should I part with it or keep on working on it and give up a spot in my garage?

All I have left is:
wire it up
run gas and hydraulic lines

Needs:
Alternator
Push rods cut for valve geometry
Rear disk brake kit

best I know that is it...

just not sure what to do....

Bus torshion, 2165cc, 3 rib

I live in Brook Park, which is a suburb of Cleveland. There is no riding at all around me. I have to drive 2 hours to Wellsville to ride. So, keep building the buggy and buy a truck.

3 Hour drive to the closest place for me, 5 to the next spot. Buy a truck, build a trailer and keep it. At least ride it once, work out the bugs you find and try it again. If you still dont like it then maybe sell it.

I'd finish it.
If you sell it you'll never get what you put in to it but you will get more for it running/drivable than a project buggy.
You also get a chance to try it out.

Thanks guys... Heck with it I will complete the build and then decide what I should do.

On that note I have decided to get some custom rear trailing arms for my next stage from Avery... and continue with my plans...

Worst case I may need to give up a winter spot or get a storage place for the winter...

once moved I will get back on the project... thanks for your thoughts... it helped

Not a bad idea, Indiana isn't real hard to get leagle in. They are fun on a nice day!

I hope you did not really expect a different answer than you got...

It is kind of like asking a group of alcoholics if you should stop drinking.

Glad to see you are sticking with it..

lol... no I expected to get the responses... helps me keep on building.... Been talking to Avery tech to have some 3x3 dual pivot arms made (would use MIke but I have a bus arms) so I decided to dive in... not going to be cheep will end up with those arms and tor. eliminators... then next I will get the brake and shocks... All this in another thread when I am able to get back on the project.

current fab work by PO has left me with lots of cleanup so I just do what I can when I can... they welded caliper tabs on the bus arm hub assy. but they are crooked... anyone should of known with crooked tabs a caliper would not line up with a rotor...

so while I am taking some time away (moving) I will get the arms and when I can bolt them in and go back to the motor...

If I do go street I think I would need to swap out the cam... but that wouldnt stop me... I just want to get it together and then see it run.. after that I will be ready to start changing it up a bit.
