Here is another suggestion, anytime you get an idea to add anything to a buggy, ask yourself do I really, really, really have to have that on there too.
Any weight you add to a buggy just kills it's ability in the woods.

Yeah, the stuff going in those tubes, already resides in the buggy. It'll just be going in there so its more accessible instead of the big rubber box under the hood.

Well put the motor back in, after taking 12 lbs off the flywheel, switching to a 4 puck clutch, and doing a good tune up. Dropped the hammer to climb a short steep hill and blew first into 10k pieces. Trans comes back out today, I guess I'm gonna do a 6 rib now

Looking good! Nothing like an already trail proven buggy. What are the tires?

STA 31 x 15.50 traxions (ditch witch tires) I gave $20 each for them, so they pull great until I can find some 23 degrees

Started the single seater conversion tonight. Moved the steering box to the middle, cut out the existing shifter box and steering brake mount. Estimated time between now and running single seater is two weeks. Biggest expense will be the new suspension seat and harness. The fiberglass seat is only for mock up purposes.

Put me new to me spindle mounts on today (thanks madskills). I like how they look better, and they should make the front end a lil lighter on that poor lil 1641.
