I will let you guys know if it works out... if so anyone else interested... usually its easier if more than one go in to get a deal?? if not I will go for it if the price is right and report back what I think...

I also email 330.
I am mainly looking at a 20" light for the front bumper but if we can get a 30" 14400 lm light for $300 I'd be all right with that. I was look at putting a 30" on the top later anyway.

Norm, looks like 330 is ok with 300 for this one deal... I told him you were interested as well and would be sending an email... I assured him if nothing else I would do an install thread showing the product and put his info in there being that he is who sold it to me and all... If anyone else is interested... this is a pretty good savings...

More on this to follow... I need to quit getting side tracked... I will never get this thing running...

Well I was asking about the 20" light, its a combo beam, 7200 lumens for 225 shipped to your door. (330's site)
The 20" light at JT's is 9600 lumens for 280.
I got to wonder about JT's light. His is the only one that has above 8000 lumens that I have seen for a 20" light.
Even Rigid's only puts out 7900 with there newest optics design.
Wait, I guess if money is no object then you have baja designs light but they cost half of what my buggy cost.

Well to be honest... I may have stretched things a bit too thin. Lets just say my spending is more or less done. Need to get it together and enjoy what I have for now. Soon as the weather allows I want to bolt it all together ang get it to run. Still a lot of work to do.

Wire
Brake plum
Fuel plum
Light mounts
Oil plum
Rocker geometry (been avoiding this)
And all the adjusting and so on needed to get things to work

Seems like there is no stop in the front wheel too it turns till the wheel hits the side of the frame... I'll get to it too I guess.

Pics will follow if I can ever get my garage thawed out.

I'm interested to see how the light bar turns out....I couldn't afford goin that route unfortunately at the time and ended up going with some 4" round 27 watt LED's. 2 on the front and 2 on the back and it's plenty of light in the woods. They're a little over 2000 lumens and the best part is they only draw I think a little over 2 amps 8)

Light came in today... It's really nice... 50 LED's feels heavy duty... I will get some pics tomorrow, also unsure how I will be able to make the bracket... It has a ribbed offset to it so the light stays set to where you adjust it... I may be able to come up with something... Need to get it out to the buggy and see how it sits on it... Starting to look for ideas now. But if nothing else there are a few mounts here:
http://www.desertled.com/tube_mounts.htm

Also I lucked into a oil cooler set ( its the aluminum one ) this was cool cause I am out of buggy money... Pics of that stuff when I get it. Looks like this:

Looking forward to getting time to work on these things...

The best parts are the parts you luck into or score a deal on. Love the LED bars. Post some pics of the install.

OK so my first discovery is that the bracket that comes with the light can be flipped (even though I see its designed to be strongest one way). So I took a quick pick for you guys (nothing it mounted or anything - still trying to decide what's what). As you can see in the pic... I had envisioned welding a bracket to the side of the upper tube and bolting the light between each side... but I am unsure how to duplicate the mount that they have with the tools I have. If I move the light down in front... it sits exactly on top on the windshield frame... I could drill and recess some bolts to mount the light as it sits I think... feel free to offer thoughts... I could also easily weld some flat stock off the side of the upper tube and mount as is too.

This is the light sitting on top... I am trying to decide if I want it on top or at the roof line (like on front top of windshield hoop). I am thinking I like the thought of the front (even with the roof line so its not sticking above the roof)...

What are your thoughts? I didn't get pics of the front mount because I don't have anything to clamp it up with that I trust. but you can visualize.

the white looking stuff is the styrophome or whatever it was packaged in... no scratches... looks like it though in the pics.

If it were me I would mount it just below the roof line. It looks nice. My first thought was inside but the light is to long for that

Nope it was not cheap for sure... I would like to know its well protected, but also in a good place to get the right light out of it... For the heck of it I took a few more pics:

please let me know your thoughts... I am still trying to decide... like you Jesse... I think it will be most protected on the bottom...

Down low would be best protected.
You could put tabs down low and up in front of windshield and leave enough wire to test both spots.
Then cut the tabs off not being used.
It isn't like you haven't changed anything before.
