starting my build should have my frame wednesday this is going to be slow due to 3 kids and a wife eating my wallet and time. I started today cleaning up my torsion. does my frame horn caps need to be strong or is this just cosmetic? im running frame horn supports and maybe upper bellhousing mounts so i would think sheet metal would be ok. ![]() ![]()

I always cut the bottom side on a little angle then cap with a peice of steel.this hangs down so it does take abuse sliding over rocks and trees.not to worried about the top just a thin cap to keep the insides clean of mud and water.good luck and keep the pics coming, winter projects is all we got on here for another month or so then it's back to trash talking to keep us occupied, lol.Chad |

been spending some time thinking about wind shield bracing. I came up with a single tube from the top of the windshield down to the front cross bar because its doensnt get in the way of getting in and out, it triangulates the windshield and it goes to two well braced points. I wanted to see what you guys think. is this enough angle to brace it good? ![]()

I don't know, but I'd at least put a small support on the windshield post on the seat side.as straight up as your windshield is doesnt seem like it would take much with all the x braces in the top.ody and mike probably the best to answer where would be the best.Chad |

i would not do it that way it wont look good and wont e as effective as if it was on the sides where you get in and out |

yeah i agree it would be ugly and the more i think about it the uglier it gets. ive talked myself out of it. my wife is going to be the main driver puttin around with the kids and she's not real small so im trying to make it easy to slither in and out. but safety's first |
