shock mounts done and painted. shocks mounted. shocks pull suspension up about an inch from full droop. wish i wouldve only gone a half inch. maybe once i get the front wheels mounted they wont look so tall. what do you guys think? (honestly)

ok its been awhile since any progress but i finnaly got some "completed" pics (nothings ever finished)
its not buggy of the month material but i love it. I have never even rode in a buggy before building this thing but now im hooked. I started building this thing shortly after my dirtbike got stolen (about 2 years ago) I havent even been offroad since my bike got stolen but LOOKOUT world im back

i would like to thank EVERYONE on this site for helping me through this. it wouldnt be nearly the buggy it is without all of your help. THANK YOU.

now i remember alot of you guys inviting me to ride when this thing got done IM READY. ive pissed off the neighbors and local law enforcement enough by working out the bugs in the field across the street now its time for some real riding.

Cool build. Love the color. Can I ask what is your wheel base? I currently have a 2 seater that I am thinking about making it a 4 seater. Thanks.

Nothing feels better than building something for yourself. Looks good lovin the color also. You may want to put some limit straps on your front shocks if they are 1" shorter than the front being fully extended. Could pull the rod out of the shock body or break at the top bolt. Now we need some muddy pics, lol. Chad

have not posted here in a while so thought id bump it  not much has changed but theres I few things ive posted in other threads just putting them here for no other reason than im bored. got the engine back together for the 3rd time this time with straight cut cam gears, ported the heads cleaned up the combustion chambers, gasket matched the intakes (required some welding to shift the holes a bit thanks to empi), homemade u exhaust with a glasspack. external oil cooler with fan and thermo switch, and a little more chrome. got some wider back wheels

everything seems to be holding together this time (knock on wood) sounds like a crotch rocket with the glass pack muffler.

next upgrade is going to be cutter brakes and some more roll bar padding and maybe ditch the dash panel for a console.

thanks barron, got up to 51 today so I got in a small ride in the field across the street. all this snow melting made it a muddy mess but it was enough to get my fix.

Gas pedal and cutter brake supposed to be here Monday. Also ordered a vacuum advance distributor and a console to replace my dash.

Got some goodies today. Started working on the console. Trying to mock up where I'm going to bolt the console. Thought about notching the back of the console to slide it back a bit further and slightly cover the cutter brakes.

Damn I hate wiring. I'm to meticulous about it. I hate any wires showing.

I also like it when no wires are showing. Being meticulous isn't such a bad thing. Its looking great - build it so your happy with it!
