 Post subject: bed armor??

I was at the parts house and seen that they had some stuff called bed armor you roll it on with a roller brush and i was wondering how well it would work on a buggy frame or would it hold mud and dirt in it what do you all think its a rough finish would that be a bad idea or not.

i have seen some rockcrawlers done up in it and its ok for them on the inside but personally i think it looks like crap when they put it on the cage and outside body panels. but hen thats jmo

I personally wouldn't do my frame..One reason is because that stuff is thick and it will add a large amount of weight to a buggy which wll cause extra strain on items like transmissions, ect. Just my opinion!

it looks very bad dot do it byddy just got a frame that was done in it it hides craks in your frame it docent look good at all it just looks like a mess maybe for your floor but thats all i would do

JMO it seem like it would hide cracks and over time all buggys crack and it would make welding them up harder .Just grindding that stuff off has to be a job

Imi in the process of use it it now.. but I'm using the spray can with a stin finish. Its duplicolor truck armorlooked like shit was worried but after I figured out how to spray it right and drried out looks kick ass... we will see how it holds up :?:
