Bently book says to index the # 13 notch foreward for Beetles & # 14 notch forward for Ghia's. EVERYTHING else I've read says to mount the gearbox centered over the pin that is welded to the BJ beam. The index reliefs are on the outside of the steering box clamp. What say everyone?????? Mounted per Bently, my bracing will need to be relocated.What do you all do ???????
