thats an "early" style vw throwout bearing but im not 100% on what the pressure plate is but it kinda looks to be vw also and so does the flywheel from whats visible in the pics and if so i would guess the clutch disk is vw too

most likely a kennedy pressure plate dose it have a stage two or stage II marked on it some where ? could be a 228 mm or most likely a 200 mm clutch . Now is the time to ck your disc while you are apart .

Just take the 6 bolts off around the outside of the pressure plate and the pressure plate and disc will fall off the fly wheel.

also make sure to make note of which side of the clutch disk faces the flywheel and which side faces the pressure plate because the center hub on the clutch disk is flat on one side and is raised on the other

It is a good idea to replace your pressure plate bolts,,and careful torquing them,,,dont take much.

No torque wrench yet and it seems to be working good so far. At this rate the tranny should blow again by the time I need to swap it, lol. Gotta get away from these VW parts. Tired of fixing them. Just waiting on my first GM part to fail so the VW stuff don't feel so bad, lmao.
