Been wanting new frame for long time so i finally got one..picked my frame up from Drews off road other day.its gonna take me few mths get it going.i have few parts from some other buggys i had over the years.. frames gonna need some more bracing and tree bars and few more parts and time and $ as i have other projects and irons in the fire lol..anyways heres my start and hope see some u guys on the trails next summer

slowly startin..took torsion bars out n put torsion eliminators in and 3x3 trailin arms
Imagecut and drilled some angle iron and got the tranny mounted
Imageput the kennedy adapter/pressure plate on and got the engine mounted..kinda pain in ass get bottom 2 bolts in..
ImageImagewhere to start next..either rear suspension or seats n shifter box..need some parts..lol

im starting to think that the frame horns off the torsion housing gonna have be hacked off..looks like its not letting the trailing arms flex back n forth without rubbing n catching on torsion horns i think thats wat its called..looks like trouble waiting happen lol

Imageim not good at postin picts but anyways..see how the trailing arm bolts to the plate..and it has the couple inch lip..thinkn bout cuttin that off and makin it even with that 3 bolt plate..i was puttin the front end on and it wouldn set level on front end the one side rear trailin arm was caught in the torsion housing..which i dont have any suspension on it yet so it might not effect it any once its off the ground lil..not sure lol..

here some better picts..gonna try fab some mounts n see if these bags i already have gonna work for me..their just not very big..i have the front end on..and ordered some parts..been thinkn bout mountin the rad on back engine cradle..get to that later

oh i see what u mean now firebug lol..just not sure how i could get metal bent like that..im limited to the tooling..unless u think a vice can make that bend lol

Use 4 pieces, still better then just one flat. One big piece for the base, two small ones for the sides and one medium over the top. The bent one is probibly stronger, but work with what you can

slowly been working on it..i wanted x brace in roof but i was afraid it wouldnt give me much head room so i did it like this and i raised the front bar up couple inches

i put this x brace in and put some flat stock underneath the tubing for seats and help out with the headroom..need get some more steel under them seats lol

Will do..i cut all the air bag stuff off..i have new 930 cv kit on way this week..not sure if tranny cv flanges will clear the torsion tubes or not..guess ill find out soon lol

I have braces where you are looking at adding them. You just need to stand on the side rail and kind of slide in, its not that bad. And makes me feel alot safer.

slowing been workin on it..heres some updates..i put new stub axle bearings in and 930 kit in..and
after talkin several members bout shocks i decided to go air bags and fox emulsion shocks

i got couple sheets alum diamond plate and put floor in..got the shifter box welded in and cutters mounted between seats..put gas tank on up front and been messin with mounting the pedals..i put disc brake kit on front end..im gonna put new piece diamond on that bumper havent got to it yet..need find some front tires

my 6 rib leaked oil so i had guy put new gasket kit in..and reverse wasnt look to good lol..so had new gear installed

heres the shocks..12" and 10"..the front end has some gussets someone welded on gonna have hack em off hits my shocks lol...i dont think it has stops up there either..i need get some flat stock and cut some circles out for them bags..slowly get air bags mounted n shocks and get some limit straps
