u do pretty good work there mad mike..but i dont have tig welder just mig..looks like its made out of alum..could u make the piece the welds to trailing arm out of steel? and whats some of the benefits over solid mount?..movement of the trailing arm the bag pivots with the cycle?

That is made out of alloy steel. Made to be welded to the arms. You are right, the advantage is to keep the bag plates parallel throughout it's travel. I think it makes the installation much easier and the bags work more efficient. I will find out material costs and let you know.

welded x brace,got some front tires. mounted shocks, got a center load rack off grand am mounted..thinkn bout not running lines to it..seems steer good nuff to me

got some circles cut and mounted air bags and braced it up and mounted the shocks..need some limit straps..im not sure if i can just mount the limit straps on same bolts as the shocks and that work fine or not?

i have the exhaust almost done..im not sure how good its gonna sound..i just dont want it outta control loud..im running 4 into 1 into muffler..and im thinkn bout mounted the radiator in the back engine cradle

w would seperate the air lines on the bags. i had mine together into one valve like that and have since made them independant. smoother ride for sure. with them tied together as one bag compresses it pressurises the other.

A single shrader and two ball valves after the tee will allow you to get the exact same pressure on each bag, then isolate. Just a thought from a guy without airbags :mrgreen:

need some radiator protection..big stick busted some fins not sure how it didnt leak lol..i know damn watercooleds lol


got it going and took it haspins over memorial wkend check stuff out..shocks rub my rear tires and i broke the shock mount sleeve at the top..i dont like the cutter brake location..needs be infront the shifter..pedals need moved couple inches closer to driver lol..and the rack needs some work on toe..oh and my ebay hid lights suck lol..brand new and only 1 works other one just flickers lol..ill be getting some kc daylighters in future..and i want front bumper made before i paint it...i wanted check it out before i get it painted make sure things are how need..but im glad i got drive it around lil bit..project been kicking my butt lol..i hope have it all painted and ready for another ride in a mth or so..been tossing the powedercoating frame idea around alot..
