Im thinking about some modifications to my boys buggy and i need a few measurements.I know there all different but i just need ballpark figures.
The first one i need is from the front of the torsion to the back of the beam.
Second is from torsion to the windshield post.
Third roof height.

The best way to have a custom buggy built for a person is to have it built around the primary driver, I know you are modifying it. The best I have seen as far as measurements goes is that the seat is around 18-1/2" from the rear torsion housing and the rest is pretty much however you like, but still leave room in case if you like to adjust the weight transfer like moving the seat forward or back and I think this is the main ingredient when it comes to weight transfer adjustments other than the suspension.

if your workin on the inline its set up its just heavy. when i get mine done it will give some ideas .all that your in line needs is to be lighted up and the roof redone to make it look more sporty.1 seaters are cool but boring and a sxs buggy is harder to drive with a inline you get the best of both worlds. just wait an see ill be slapin them single seaters around this summer in the stabin wagon...............and i may just go back to a smaller motor to make it e-z-er on um!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You think it would hurt it if i moved the seat back about 5in.? Where im confused is the large amount of space that is inside of the cockpit. You take Charlies buggy for instant,it was an inline at one time and you would not have known if you did'nt know the buggy in its previous life.I know looks aint everything but i dont want to see 3ft. or more of empty space behind the driver. How do some of you guys put pics up and then draw on them using the computer?

Thanks Wes.Im gonna start cutting on it today and what ya'll think about cutting into the main hoop behind your head so i can lower the roof a little?I figured i could turn down some 1/4in wall tubing for sleeves to attach the new hoop and have the same amount of strength.
