lookin good, I have a question though. With the manifolds like that wouldnt it kind of disrupt the exhaust flow? since its basically coming out and running into a wall...I mean either way its gonna get out Just a dumb question lol got me thinking since exhaust all about getting it out as effiecently as possible. Not bashing anything your doing Just wondering

Probably no more restrictive than an real sharp bend with small diameter tube. Try to merge both sides of the four banger if you can. Or bring them all together. I really like it.

That looks good eugene. It should work great. That is the way most of he chaindrive guys do their exaust. Wades run a 383 chevy with his just like that, kevin thomas has his just like that on his chaindrive with a late model 6.0 on propane. Neither one of them seem to struggle or have probs with it. :D :D

That's my plan, I think I'm going to go from left to right under the bellhousing and merge them together on the right side of the engine

my exhaust was done at the race car shop here in town :? and they restricted it a little more than the pics shown because they agreed some restriction was needed  and i havent had any problems  from my suby flange it goes into a 1inch and then back into 1.5 inch

I'm big on modifying stock parts.
I take the stock exhaust manifold that normaly point down, cut partially through and bend so it points horizontal.
Then take a piece of exhaust tubing with the sharpest bend I can find and cut filler pieces from the outside of said bend that make better curved rounded fill pieces for the gap I created when I cut and bent the stock manifold.
The pics are of my van exhaust with suby. I even put the heat shields back on.

Exhaust manifold will work but you will loose some mid and top-end over a nice long tubular job, whether that bothers you for what your doing anyway :?:
