Found a couple more pics... Had to split the trans skid down the middle. Bend it down. Cut and bend both side again and fill the middle to clear all the extra heft in the middle. Had to hack up trans mount plate as well and remake all that. And every time I welded anything I had to put the whole cage back together to make sure my tube connectors stayed lined up.

I wasn't in the mood to buy more fancy tubing connectors so I used some of my old style ones left over for the fuel cell... It used to be pinched in place with the cage, but that didn't play nice anymore in the new position.

Here is where I put the circulation pump. Short and sweet. I was able to recycle my now too short fuel lines for the trans pump system.

Halfway there...

Would you mind sharing with a newb more about those tube connectors you mentioned (old style and new style)? Are they made or can they be bought?

The old style are the 2 exhaust flanges bolted together

This is the "new" style

The tube connectors I got were from Pacific Customs. It was 5 years ago when I bought them. I don't recall if they were mild or Chromoly.

I didn't plan on needing more until I realized I couldn't lift the cage over the cell in the new position and I didn't want to wait 3 days for them so I used the exhaust flange style that I had.
