I got a new alt for a 2007 HHR and on the front holes (side towards the pulley) on the engine side they were like 5/16 and one was ovalish. The outsides were 3/8 and the back hole was 3/8 all the way through.
Axle length I will measure but they are longest u can go before you go custom big $$$. The arms are like 15 over or something they were built by DREWS OFFROAD and are mirco stubs.

Are you running the Latest Rage micro stubs still? I know you had good luck out of the cast combo spindles!

Nope brand new set of Jamar's WAY beefier and way more pricey. I never broke the race trims but they always had a little wobble and that would spread the brake pads to where u had to pump the pedal to get a tight handle on the steering brake.

Radiator hoses built, accelerator pedal mount built, fan shroud mounts built and attached to the radiator. fuel cell back in and filler relocated. Next is the fuel system for tonight. Wiring on Saturday and hopefully redoing the rear cage on Sunday. I will take my phone over and take some pics tonight.

Race bug That aint funny........lol I have turned over a new leaf.

I think the Ja-mar one are serviceable. Yes they are big $$$ but I bought a cheap set the first time and now I had to buy a second set. I have learned in the race car I would rather spend a lot of money once then a lesser amount 3 times. (only took me 6 yrs to figure that out). The race environment is just brutal on parts and it cost a bunch just to make it to the race track so it sucks when you break because you cheaped out on a part. That's also the reason I haven't raced in 4 yrs. no money. I mean most ofus would save up to buy a set of Foddrill arms and spindles and think of them as a lifetime investment. My friends in the desert only put two races on them then buy new ones. In between races they pull them off and have them magnafluxed and welded. I on the other hand will run mine till they go pop. Ok I got off and a side line there.

Well fuel line all run. Started on the oil lines and was going to run a bunch of my old brass barb fittings and bam right off the remote oil deal that screws into where the stock oil filter goes is not 1/2" NPT but 12-an so at that point might as well order all new hose and fittings an style. My old remote filter had 3/8 NPT inlet and outlet so ordered a new one of those to with 1/2" NPT in and out. my alt pulley and bracket showed up today so that will go on tonight.

Well I finished up the fab work and tack welded everything. I pulled everything back out and finished welding everything up and painted last night. I also fab'd up a spare tire mount. Now I need to reassemble, get it wired and let it rip. I do still need to mount the jack and breaker bar and then on to the new body. I missed the April 6th race but I have one in Montana on May10th or
Denver on the 18th.

Looks good. But 1 piece of advice the less 90's on the intake the more power. I just have 2 and planning on getting rid of them. May not be as big of a deal n/a but sc huge difference on the dyno I made 15 more hp by just taking the end cap off of the same filter housing. Just trying to help the straighter and colder the better

Well I am 90% put back together, I am waiting on I hope the last parts order with all my oil lines and AN fitting should be here tomorrow. I did decide to change my rear engine mount, It would have probably worked fine in a woods buggy but in the race world your rear cage gets a little love every once in a while. I didn't want that mount shoved through the engine block when a Trophy truck hits meet at 80.

Drivers side mount was a little tight on space with the header.
