Well I am on vacation this week and made my parts order for fuel lines and filters. Plus I just boght two mid shifts. One is good and the other one won't work in 1st or 2nd is what the guy said. Hopefully I can get the motor mounted and some of the plumbing and wiring done.

Well when I put my motor in I had to change about everything in the back from air bags to radiator mounts. Here are some pics of the new progress. Oh and I moved everything as far forward as I could.

Well got everything welded up today and painted back. Plus got the motor, trans, and air bags mounted. Now it is time for the plumbing and wiring. I am still waiting on this http://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt_ion ... &catid=143 . I will have to take it easy for the next few days. I am going to have my baby makin problem fixed.

Couple of questions come to mind
When you say you had to move the engine and trans way forward, how did you do that and is that going to cause your axles to be in a bind?

What kind of air bag system did you get?

When I said everything I meant radiator, gas tank, heat exchanger, and so on. And I just had a set of air bags and copied how other people on here are doing it.

OK I gotcha. So the frame was long enough in the back to fit the Ecotech, that is cool. One less thing to worry about.
What did the radiator come out of?

What kind of fuel pump are you using and who did you get your trans adapter from? Sorry for all the questions, but your building the exact rail that I had on my mental scratch pad. Its nice to see it actually being built. 8)

I am using a walbro 255 lph pump. But you have to use a bypass regulator because they have a returnless fuel system. And they need 58 psi at idle. I have a adapter plate for a n/a ecotec. But Kennedey adapters has one for the s/c.
