the rear of my buggy is around 1/4 inch off of the stop for fool droop on my buggy . i try to explain this in words , when i was told how to set my torsion i was told pull it apart and the four bolt holes to hold the spring plate the lowest one on the right take the arm and center it at the hole and then push it in to grab the splines and then put it back together . my buggy sits alittle low in the rear so my question is can i set it tighter with out having problems ? hopefully you understand what i explained . thanks jason

I will assume you are not using limit straps and are using stock 22 mm torsion bars. Are you saying when the buggy is on the ground the spring plate is a 1/4" from the stop? Or with the car off the ground. If its on the ground then it seems adjusted to tight and will not give you enough droop. If its off the ground then you have them adjusted to loose and will have the sag you speak of. As far as lining up the lower front hole that would actually make it tighter as typically you woul use the rear hole. It sound like the torsions are sacked out and need replaced.

with the buggy on the ground the arm is 1/4 inch off the lower stop , which i guess would be the rebound stop . im lookin to get more height out of the rear on the stock rear set up thanks ody ! jason

Sounds like its wehere it needs to be.
If you run it on the stops it ill not have any droop. If you want more ground clearence you will need to cut the stops off, tighten the torsion and run limit straps. (also will have stiffer ride) If your not running bigger trailing arms you can get more height by getting some. Using yor eye to set yor torsion can make it a pain to get both sides even. You can use an angle finder on your spring plate before you suck it all together to make sure they are the same. I don't remember for sure but the out side splines rotate in 3 degree increments and the inside in 2 degree increments. Making it possible to increase yor angle by 1,2, or 3 degrees. (rotate 3 on the spring plate, back 2 in the torsion = 1 degree)

Hard one for me to answer... My old car had 2x3 with bus cv's @ about 20 degrees (i don't really remember, and I know it alot of angle for bus) with good ground clearence (I thought). What arms and cv's are you running?
