I used my brothers when I rolled. It’s about 3-4yrs old and its ok but if I ever buy one I think I will get the gopro. You can get a wide angle lens and the picture looks much better. Here is a gopro wide angle on a buggy. Much better quality than the one my brother has. |

The scary thing is your roll didnt appear that violent considering the damage. Your roll has influenced my cage design considerably. I also think Im going to wear a helmet for all but trailriding as well. |

I WOULD BEG TO DIFFER , KINDA LIKE PICTURES DONT JUSTIFY A HILL SIZE !!! i could not even imagine being there and would not have wanted to be there , and give bill big props for getting right back into it as fast as he did !!!! man those were some scary pics !! |

Ok I found pricing on ebay. $140 to $300 new, depending on the model. Not to bad! |

I love the idea of a rollbar cam for mine. Ill have to see if the budget allows for it. Does the camera record or is there a separate recorder? I want to get off the cam topic briefly to clear up any confusion about my violent comment because it almost sounds like I minimized how bad it really was. That roll scares the hell out of me. I have seen buggies trashed & twisted & ripped apart by rolling. With Bills that is not the case. It looks like it dropped hard on the roof but doesnt show the signs of barrel rolling & cart wheeling that blows tires & rips trailing arms out. Thats what I mean by violent. I wasnt there but it appears it pivotted on 1 back tire, came over backward & dropped 30 feet or so till the roof hit then bounced back onto the wheels. I bet if Bill had his current roof he would have had whiplash like a MoFo but the damage would have been minimal....But like I said, I wasnt there. Those pics woke me up....No more dry rotted seat belts, rusty or thin tubing, crappy welds & Ill add horsepower to overcome the added weight of a full cage. Thats my 2 cents worth & Ill get off my soapbox now.... |

The camara I have only cost $80. If you can swing it, I would suggest the one with the LCD screen. That one wasn't available when I got mine. The one I have you can't see what you just recorded untill you get to a computer. Here is the link. http://www.oregonscientificstore.com/or ... et=16_wcos |
