Hey everyone We just wanted to invite you out to the park. Here is some info for ya.
The park will be open on weekends now, due to the multiple requests. All rules still apply. (weather permitted)
Hello everyone! I just wanted to thank you personally for coming out to our Dirt Park and riding. I hope ya'll loved it. For the Janurary 1-3 ride, this is what we have so far!! -For one day riding it will be $20 for drivers and $10 for passangers. For the whole weekend it will be $35 for drivers and $20 for passangers. -Cash Only... No refunds -Camping is avalible as it was for the last ride, first come first serve in the parking lot. -I know we ran into a problem with the entrances and exits, they will be clearly marked the next time. The entrance will be the same (Someone put up on Craigs list the Home address and that was not the entrance, its down the road. there will be that big semi with the sign on it again) -ALL ATV AND DIRT BIKE RIDERS MUST WARE HELMETS! -NO GLASS BOTTLES -There will be a Timed Race for Jeeps and rail buggies. Fastest up the trail gets $200 even if you gotta be pulled, winched or pushed. This trail will be blocked off until the time of this race. I am not sure which day or which trail it will be. But its going to be a difficult one. -Gate opens on Friday at 4:00 P.M. Closes on Sunday at 7:00 P.M Riding ends at 9:00 P.M every night - Those who are not waring the wristbands will be considered trespassing. (waivers need to be signed) -we are still in a debate on weather or not to make the waivers notorized.... in this case you would only show your licens once a year and we will have your waiver on record so you wont have to sign it every time. -we are also currently looking at buying more property to make it 600 acres rather than 450.... if you would like to e-mail us our e-mail is wheelersoffroading@yahoo.com and if there is anymore I will be sure to email you, and if you have any questions that I cannot answer you can always call Rick Wheeler at (937)-544-0161or 937-544-8265. Also you can visit us on myspacce at www.myspace.com/wheelersoffroading Thanks again!!! Wheelers Dirt Park

i dont want to bash the place its cool that the guys in ohio have another place to ride but it is a bit much to pay to ride i never have liked to have to pay for a pass.but i would like to check to place out some time it may be a good place to have a hill climb that some ohio boy's could make it to.

This place is not that far from me and Ive talked to a few rockcrawler guys and a few buggy guys, and of course 2 different opinions.Rockcrawlers loved it,buggy guys of course are mixed about it,especially when you've got the trailrider guys and the strictly hillclimbing guys.Im not going to say what they said because it will sound like im bashing the place even though there are good and bad opinions, but whats new.All i know is that when i do get a chance to go riding,im going for a couple days.Im tired of spending money and not getting enough seat time and most of us know without good seat time you can get hurt trying to get all the climbing in that you can in a short amount of time.

It is located in Adams County, Ohio off of St. Rt. 348 about 15 mins. from St. Rt. 73 in Otway, it took me a total of 45 mins to get there from my house and I live in Minford. I dunno about the other way like coming in from West Union. This park is not too bad, I liked it, I just was not able to get around very well due to some people cluttering up the trails like when someone breaks-down, or just pulling over to watch other people play on a hill or a rock trail and I had to make my way around it. As far as the prices go, it may not be a bad start, he just opened the place up and I am sure that it is not cheap for him to buy the property, let him represent the park by starting out somewhere and when people likes it and can keep them coming back for more and then he can lower the price. I think it is OK for me to pay the price is because I can't always go to Wellsville and D&K every weekend because it is a 4-hour drive for me to both places, I would love to go to both places if I had the time to do so and my work schedule is not letting me do it and will have to plan on staying 1 or 2 nights to get to go. This place can be a good-local stomping grounds for me that I can just load up when I get off work in the morning then go straight there in 45 mins and have a good day riding, it will also cost me about $20 in fuel to get there and back, I can have a great day there for $50 total, and that will cover my beer, food and fuel. Wellsville and D&K will run me around $250 or so for a weekend trip and not to mention wear and tear on my truck too. It is all good as long as everyboby has a good time regardless of the cost. Just my $0.02 8)

We lose places to ride all the time - i think its cool that someplace new is opening THAT ALLOWS BUGGIES - most places around anymore only want 4 wheelers . So it costs a few bucks more - what is time to travel someplace else and gas cost to get there worth ? The guy probably has land payments , insurance, etc.

this place a long ways from me but i agree that that we lose "free" places to ride all the time (lost our last good one around here about 2 or 3 year ago) and that the new places opening up have to charge to cover the land payment, tax, insurance, trail maintenance, and so on but they have to try and get rich overnight with thier prices though

i have seen this happen at a park up in the edge of tennesse but they started out cheap ( like 40 or 45 dollars for a 3 or 4 day holliday weekend for me, wife, and buggy ) and allways had a crowd but now they have gotten ridiculous, just this past halloween it cost 90 dollars for me, wife, and buggy and we didnt get there till about 8pm friday night and didnt even unload the buggy till saturday about noon time because it was raining like hell and we left sunday around 3pm also thier crowd is not near what it used to be

i personaly like how lbl does thiers 15 dollars for the vehilcle for the whole weekend no matter if its a single seater or a 4 seater but i know they probably dont have the overhead the private places places do but this driver $25 a day and passenger $5 a day and if the passenger is gonna do any driving its $25 a day also even though only one person at a time is driving is a load of crap.....jm2cent....i will now gtfo

LOL...This didnt help. I had to Google Blue Creek to find out it was east of Cincy.

Id have to check the place out at least once before passing judgement. As a hillclimber I was dissappointed by Haspin when my buds & I found only one easy hill to climb. That was 7 years ago & I dont know if it has changed but unless somebody finished cutting in the hills along the creekbed I get bored there. This place may be decent.

As far as the hills go....they have some nice, steep hills to play on and I did'nt even cover the whole park that day and not to mention, there are some hills that I would'nt even touch because it is so steep  Look up mapquest.com and use the map starting where live at and scroll the map south until you get to West Union in Adams County, and you will see St. Rt. 125 going east from West Union and it will run right into 348 and turn left on 348 and it will run right by the park before you get to Wamsley, there will be a sign hanging from a large boom truck to tell you where to turn left if you are coming from the West Union area, if you go past Wamsley, you went too far.

Im in Trumbull county about a mile from Mahoning county. I use Youngstown for a reference point since there is a Girard, PA an hour away & it confuses PA & NY people when I say Girard.
