This may be the first one of the winter season. We took the rail out to see what was needed to recover this rock crawler. See anything yet? The owner pulled to the right to let someone pass and the edge of the road collasped putting him a good 150 feet down the hill. He was in a five point harness but without a helmet got smacked hard and spent 24 hours in the hospital. The hill flattened out where the rock crawler stopped another 20 yards farther it would of been another 1000 ft tumble in to the bottom of the ravine.

It went off the road about where this Jeep is. Note there is no room for the recovery trucks winch or an anchor vehicle.
If we get the job this beast is going to do have to do the job. Twin 30,000# winches that swivel.
