this may be in the wrong place, so mods move it if ya need to


but ive found a 1600cc motor but i found a 1800 too he just wants 150.00 more for the bus motor

but i had a 1600 in the buggy but kinda interested in the 1800 but dont want to do any frame work
would a 1800 bus motor or a bug motor be better and bout how much more power would i have?

My Dad runs a 1700 bus motor and it is wicked compared to a stock beetle motor,,but it requires new exhaust,,good carb,,etc,,and it is a little heavier too,, but stock for stock it is stout

i think ill stick to the bug motor after i seen what bus headers run, and i mean ive got all kinds of bug parts already
