I flat tow mine all the time and you do not need insurance to flat tow. (At least in GA) As for lights, I have two tail lights that hang on the back with a 15 foot wire that plugs into my jeep.

Gotta agree with Chris. If your just starting out, fine. But I'd work on getting a T-trailer. What happens if you break a trailing arm or stub axle? Then your stuck, just an idea.

Have 'em make you an "H" trailer instead of a "T". A "T" can be a pain to load onto if your buggy is broke. And an H is useful for other light hauling sometimes.

I hate to say this, but I agree with Larry :? You can always throw plywood or something on a H-Trailer and load up with other things.

I flat towed my baja from el paso tx. to ohio didnt have any problems it is just like pulling a trailer the vehicle it is hooked to ins. it . I would get a trailer as soon as poss. just for the fact of breaking your buggy on a trail it would be nice to have a trailer to put it on.
