its not only crazy its bullshit! for the amount we pay to camp there it should be open through November.(if not all year) i called there and was given some bs story about the insurance only runs for 6 months. so for 20 years theres been no problem and no closing date but all of a sudden the insurance only runs for 6 months.....yea right!!!
as much as i like camping there, it might be time to raise my middle finger when rent is due in the spring unless there is a change in there thinking. the place is already a ghost town compared to what it used to be just a couple years ago.

Maybe you only pay half of the asking price due to the half year usage!

I would be pissed if I paid that much for a lot expecting to have it for a year and couldn’t use it for a year. Did you sign a contract or anything stating how long lot rent was for

they started this last year. there was a flyer mailed out with the dates on it so it doesn't come as a complete surprise.

Ok, so I take it they will open the gate every day and then relock it at night?

if i stay there next year the only reason is because of my kids. i can let them ride around camp and not have to worry about some idiot flying through doing 50 mph, every1 down there are good about the kids. don't get me wrong i hate it but my youngest loves camp. she called me crying last night when she found out we were not going to be able to go when get home from work. she thinks there is nothing better then riding her 4 wheeler and being i the buggy. she's my little helper too, when ever i'm working on it she right there with me. so there is no way i can tell her i'm not going to get it and break her little heart.

why don't all you yellowcreekers get together and tell them that you are not coming back next year if they do not let you camp longer. I'm sure between plumberbill, andrew, and odyknuck there is about 8-10k floating around that they sure as hell will miss. Just my opinion...
