Rebel Riders(10 of us) drove our buggys in a funeral precession last year ,30 degrees outside, to bury a friend and fellow buggy member. I almost got frost bite between my fingers. |

Who puts their buggy away when it gets cold? Nobody here does. Makes it REAL interesting when the grounds froze. |

40 deg for the low tonight. Below 0 isn't odd. Just do like me and reverse your Rad Fan so it blows heat at you |

When the fan blows forwards, its enough to take the chill off. Or come to a stop and get good and toasty |

Thought about it bradley, just not something I really need just yet. Gunna put thin aluminum skin onit to keep off the breeze sticks and mud. Did ok just bundled up last year. |

If you planned ahead when building a frame and knew you were gonna run a waterpumper, why couldnt you route water thru your frame around the "cab" area of the buggy? You'd have convection heat all around you, then just bypass it with a heater control valve when you got plenty warm, or in the warmer months. Just run an anti rust conditioner in the coolant. Antifreeze by itself will help, but the conditioners supposedly leave a coating when you drained the pipe for summer riding. |

I have never been cold when riding. It is called good Rain gear. Keeps you warm. I put my buggy up about May till October. Too hot and too many bugs. |
