Well the new tie rods only lasted 3 trips. I went to Walhonding, OH Saturday and the first 5 minuets of riding I got about 5 |

Drews Off Road has alum.tie rods with International ends already set up for $100-$120.They are 1" or so wider than stock,so all you have to do is cut them down 1/2"on each side with a hack saw.1-888-463-7397. |

Thanks buddy  Few less beers earlier in the day and it might have looked a little better. All joking aside it did make it the rest of the night and was evidently stronger than the tie rod since most of that bend came after the booger weld job.

Brad, this is where I got my tie rod tubes. I have the steel tubes with swedged ends. You can get them in increments of 1". Call them and tell them what measurements you need, center eye of rack to center eye of steering arm and they will get you the right size. I think I paid about $15 to $18 a tube. brad i tried the aluminum ones bent first time out.race car fab shops sell tubeing and threded weld in ends.I use s and w race cars for stuf like that.tubeing is sold by the foot. |

I finally got my new hex rods and free stabilizer installed. I think the new hex rods will hold up a little better than the round aluminum rods I had. The rods cost $20 for the pair with the 11/16 |

Where did you get the hex rods? I need to replace my cheap aluminum rods. I have one that is bent really bad. Stabilizer job came out good Brad. Roy |

I got them from LA Products in Akron, OH. They can make them any length. They were going to charge $70 for the entire set up (2 rods, 2 International ends, 2 Ford ends) but they only had 1 of each rod end, so they charged $50 total. $20 for the rods and $15 for each rod end. I researched the price on the taps to do it myself and it would have cost almost $120 just for the taps |

I can't belive your STILL messing around with tie rod ends. Get a set of 3/4" chrome moly heims and be done with it. I've been running around Wellsville for 2 1/2 years with mine, no problems. www.speedwaymotors.com, $15 each. 3/4" swedged steel radius rods $14 each. They also have 11/16 -18 LH tap $30, RH tap $20. |
